Director of Institutional Technology


Director of Institutional Technology is responsible for all instructional and administrative technology in this multi-platform environment. Advises staff on all areas of technology; manages a staff of two; maintains and controls all hardware and software; works closely with all departments to coordinate network technology needs; prioritizes projects; provides training to faculty, students and staff as needed. Key member of leadership team and integral to the development and execution of the college’s new strategic plan.
 
Qualifications- Bachelor degree and ten years experience in technology with at least three years in a management position. Experience with MS SQL, Mac OSX, Windows Server 2008, Linux servers, VMWare, virtualization, VOIP, switch and router configuration a plus. Salary commensurate with experience. Overview:
Pennsylvania College of Art & Design is the only professional art college in central Pennsylvania.  PCA&D offers four-year Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree programs in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Illustration, and Photography.  Over 1000 adults, teens and youth participate in the College's continuing education classes each year.  Nationally-recognized artists exhibit in the Main Gallery at PCA&D, and artist talks and opening receptions are free and open to the public.  PCA&D is an educational and economic anchor in the thriving city of Lancaster, Pa., and is located in the heart of the city's culture and arts district.  The College features signature community-outreach events such as The Mosaic Project and the 24-hour Designathon.
