Design Center
We are excited about the construction of our new Design Center on the third floor. Scheduled for completion by Fall 2010, the facility is a 9,200 square foot expansion and enhancement which will enable students from all disciplines to connect their creative energies in one dynamic environment.
The Design Center better prepares PCA&D students for a life in art and design by:
• Improving students’ professional preparation by mirroring a real-world workplace.
• Enabling students of different disciplines to work collaboratively.
• Embracing the digitization of the arts while continuing to support the discipline of hand-drawn artwork.
• Increasing efficiencies: students use state-of-the-art equipment in one location and under the aegis of centralized IT support and services.
• Enhancing students’ knowledge of business trends and standards specific to their industries.
