In 2012, PCA&D celebrates 30 years of preparing students for a life in art. It also celebrates the creativity, vitality, and energy that has grown in this part of the City of Lancaster since we moved into 204 North Prince Street and embraced the city as our campus.
As we celebrate, we are also experiencing the need to provide more scholarships for art and design students with financial need, to support our teachers’ drive for even better programming and technology for students, and to invest in a downtown space that can enhance the life of students, residents, and visitors.
We will need your involvement and investment for these important objectives to be realized! To ensure that it will happen, our Development Committee and staff are working on a new and unique giving circle. This won’t be a typical annual giving club, so stay tuned for more information and for the official launch of the program. In the meantime, here are the ways you can support PCA&D’s students, teachers and the Lancaster community:
- Make a charitable gift of any size each year to PCA&D
- Attend a special fundraising event
- Sponsor an event or program during the year
- Host a PCA&D intern
- Consider becoming a member of the special upper-level giving “Circle” that will be launched in 2012
- Add PCA&D to your estate plans
- Volunteer on a committee or for a special event
- Tell your friends and neighbors about the wonderful things happening at PCA&D and bring them here to see it!
Gifts of every size are always needed to ensure that the best art and design education is available to as many people as possible. Generous donations given throughout the year support provide benefits such as free arts and cultural events for the community, continuing education tuition discounts for qualifying teachers, and investment in our staff’s and faculty’s ability to provide life-enhancing educational experiences for our students.

Resource Support
The internship experience at PCA&D is an important part of a student’s preparation for the work force. If you can facilitate an internship opportunity for a PCA&D student, please contact us. More information about PCA&D's internship program is available on the Internships webpage.
Futures First Scholarship Fund
Most of our students qualify for financial aid and almost half still have unmet financial need, over and above their family’s resources. Scholarships are designed to improve the financial aid opportunities of the young artists and designers who study here.
