The public is invited to join the PCA&D community for a series of free artist talks throughout the academic year.
Osamu James Nakagawa will present an artist talk about his work on Friday, April 6 at 4 p.m. Nakagawa's talk is in conjuntion with the exhibit "Landscapes of Conflict: Photos by Shai Kremer, Bart Michiels and Osamu James Nakagawa" in the Main Gallery.

Nakagawa will also be present that evening for a gallery opening of his exhibit. The gallery is open during First Friday, April 6, from 5 - 9 p.m.

For the third year, PCA&D offered its popular “Mosaic Project,” a multicultural exhibition and education program for students and families in Lancaster County. Artists talks by Raul Colon and Amy Sherald were held on October 7. The Mosaic Project is made possible through a grant from the Lancaster County Community Foundation. Gail Anderson, graphic designer typographer, returned to PCA&D on October 10. After her public talk, Gail spent the afternoon working with graphic design majors to create print and motion pieces celebrating PCA&D's 30th anniversary. This was not the first time Gail visited Lancaster and PCA&D. She delivered the commencement address during PCA&D's graduation on May 7, 2011. Click here to read the full story.
