The creative process behind new deluxe packaging for Devin Townsend Project's "Contain Us" will be presented by its creator and art director, Tom Bejgrowicz, tomorrow, January 26.

Tom is a faculty member in PCA&D's graphic design department and teaches typography, advanced typography, type as art, design studio, and professional practices/portfolio preparation.  He owns Man Alive Design, which provides graphic design and photography for clients across the country, including the music industry.

Tom's talk will be held in Room 213 from 1 - 2 p.m.

The collection comes in a 12” x 12” linen-bound slipcase that holds a 64-page book, the quadrilogy, two bonus CDs, two bonus DVDs, a purple fabric bookmark, a gatefold centerpiece, liner notes from Devin, and ephemera and memorabilia from the band’s personal archives.  Within its limited worldwide run of 5,000 copies, "Contain Us" comes in a hand-numbered, deluxe edition of 500 that delivers an exclusive two-track 10” and lithograph signed and drawn by Townsend.

The four-CD set, "Contain Us," was released in late 2011 by the Devin Townsend Project and Inside Out Music as a special tribute collection for its epic quadrilogy ("Ki," "Addicted," "Deconstruction," and "Ghost").
