"Illustration 24" was held for the first time ever at PCA&D on October 19 and 20, during which artists created 24-page comics in one day.
Held in conjunction with the global 24-Hour Comics Day, PCA&D was the only participating venue in the region. Thousands of comic artists in dozens of countries take part in the event every year.
It all began at 6 p.m. on October 19 and wrapped up with a presentation of completed and not-completed comics 24 hours later.
Photos as "Illustration 24" progressed are posted on PCA&D's Facebook wall.
You can also hear a post-event interview on The Lancast, the region's best-known grassroots podcast site that features "the thoughts and interests of active members of the Lancaster County, PA community..."
The "Illustration 24" interview with Bob Hochgertel, Bob McLeod, Jeff McComsey '05, and Sam Warren '13, is live. Click here to listen.
Our thanks go to David Moulton, one of the co-founders of The Lancast, for his interest in PCA&D's first-annual "Illustration 24" event.
