College of Art & Design offers students a unique opportunity — a learning
environment and support system composed of a small community of professional
artists that have real world experience. Our students are challenged by
the faculty and each other. They thrive in this culture and work hard,
but manage to squeeze in some fun as well. And — Lancaster
is a great place to have fun.
With a number of galleries, museums, clubs, funky shops, cafes and restaurants,
students find Lancaster a great place to live and learn. In addition,
it is also home to Franklin & Marshall College, Millersville University,
and Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, making this historic city
a "college town" in its own rite.
Lancaster offers the advantages of a city and the comfort and safety of
a small town - a great environment for young adults.
The college's Housing Referral Service will help BFA students with off-campus
housing needs.
