Use of Pennsylvania College of Art and Design Library Material

The library's circulation is a service provided to current students, faculty and staff of the college. Circulation enables materials to be used and borrowed in a timely manner set forth by the borrowing policy.

Anyone may use the materials from the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design Library, on site, by calling and making arrangements with the Library Director.

Library Hours while BFA classes are in session:

Monday - Thursday 8:00am-8:00pm
Friday 8:00am-4:00pm

Library Hours- all other times:

Hours are modified during semester breaks, holidays and during the summer.

Grant Information:

Thirty billion dollars in personal and business grants will be awarded this year. There are fourteen hundred federal programs, twenty-four thousand state programs, thirty thousand private foundations, and twenty thousand scholarship programs available offering funding for personal and business use.

Knowing where to begin can be overwhelming, but locating organizations for funding is relatively simple. The book, The Complete Guide to Government Grants offers information and contacts for anyone. For those seeking funds online, www.grants.gov is a Federal government website that allows organizations to electronically find and apply for competitive grant opportunities from all Federal grant-making agencies. For specialized funding, books such as, Funding for Women and Minorities are also available to assist in your research. The Foundation Center, www.fdncenter.org provides a wealth of information for those seeking funds, including helpful tools for searching, answers to commonly asked questions, and links to thousands of private foundations granting funds.
